Hiking in Ancient Ruins at Mesa Verde

We visited at least 8 different sites in 24 hours.  The kids liked the one with the ladders.  It made me nervous, but we scaled them fine.  It was interesting hearing about the people who built and lived there.   I can only imagine how it was living in these rock houses in caves with a bunch of children.  It was enough just to keep ours safe for a few hours.   This was an educational experience for us.  It made us grateful for our cozy home and lifestyle.
