The "Perfect" Tree

Trecked through the Trees to pick a tree.  Was ohh so fun.  Well at least for some, Gabe was just cold and wanted to get in the car.  We couldn't find the "perfect tree".  So we, decided on "the one". We brought it home and I decided that we would retell the story of 
WHY CHRISTMAS TREES AREN'T PERFECT.  Sophia and Gabe were the king and queen.  We used our stuffed animals for the animals and I played the selfish trees that won't help the animals.  It was adorable and a great way to explain why our tree isn't quiet perfect.  It has served the forest animals well, just like Christ serves us all.  Good Christmas story if you haven't read it.  May not work so well for those with perfect little Christmas trees, but it is still be a good lesson.
