Proper Role of Government

The proper role of government is

to protect equal rights,

NOT to provide equal things.

I've not been brave enough to write about my political beliefs yet, but it is hard not to express my thoughts as I watch our nation move into the direction that it is.

I saw this statement and it rings true to me.
